느헤미야 강해 10

이번 주 설교 본문은 느헤미야 7:1~73절입니다.

제목은 ‘뛰어난 자라’입니다.

신학과 철학에서

‘신 존재 증명’이 있었습니다.

하지만 성경의 하나님이

자신을 계시하신 것과는 전혀 달랐습니다.

하나님은 자신을 위하여

존재, 권세, 위엄을 드러내지도 않고

하나님에게 합당한

경배, 찬양, 예물을 요구하지도 않습니다.

하나님에게는 전혀 필요하지 않은

다양한 사건들을 통하여 하나님을 계시하십니다.

하나님을 계시하는 것이 목적이지만

백성들과 무관하게 하나님을 과시하지 않고

어떻게든 백성들에게 도움이 되는 사역을 합니다.

대신 사람들에게는 절실한 사건들이지만

정작 그 사건과 상황이 핵심은 아닙니다.

굳이 성벽이 재건되는 과정을 길게 소개하고,

포로에서 돌아온 사람들의 명단을

또 다시 기록하는 목적은 무엇일까요?

느헤미야 7 : 1 ~ 4절 본문 번역 비교읽기

▣ 개역개정 (2002년, 대한성서공회)

1.성벽이 건축되매 문짝을 달고 문지기와 노래하는 자들과 레위 사람들을 세운 후에 2.내 아우 하나니와 영문의 관원 하나냐가 함께 예루살렘을 다스리게 하였는데 하나냐는 충성스러운 사람이요 하나님을 경외함이 무리 중에서 뛰어난 자라 3.내가 그들에게 이르기를 해가 높이 뜨기 전에는 예루살렘 성문을 열지 말고 아직 파수할 때에 곧 문을 닫고 빗장을 지르며 또 예루살렘 주민이 각각 자기가 지키는 곳에서 파수하되 자기 집 맞은편을 지키게 하라 하였노니 4.그 성읍은 광대하고 그 주민은 적으며 가옥은 미처 건축하지 못하였음이니라

1.성 수축이 끝나자 나는 성문을 만들어 달고는 수위들을 배치시켰다. 2.그리고는 동생 하나니와 성채 수령 하나니야에게 예루살렘 수비를 맡겼다. 하나니야는 진실한 사람으로서 누구보다도 하느님 두려운 줄을 아는 사람이었다. 3.나는 그들에게 일렀다. "해가 뜨거워지기 전에는 문을 열지 말고 해가 아직 높이 있을 때 문을 닫아걸도록 하여라. 예루살렘 성민으로 보초를 세워라. 사람마다 초소를 정해 주어 보초를 서게 할 뿐만 아니라, 집마다 제 집 앞에 보초를 서게 하여라." 4.원체 성이 크고 넓은데다 인구는 얼마 되지 않아 새 집을 세울 수가 없었다.

1.성벽 건축 공사를 마치고 성문을 단 다음에 나는 성전 문지기와 성가대원과 레위 사람들에게 업무를 할당하고 2.내 동생 하나니와 요새의 지휘관 하나냐에게 예루살렘을 다스릴 책임을 맡게 하였다. 하나냐는 그 누구보다도 성실하고 하나님을 두려워하는 사람이었다. 3.그리고 나는 그들에게 해가 높이 떠오를 때까지는 예루살렘 성문을 열지 말며 문지기가 문을 지키고 있을 때 성문을 닫고 빗장을 지르도록 지시하였다. 나는 또 그들에게 예루살렘 주민들 가운데 경계병을 세워 각자 자기 초소와 자기 집앞을 경계하게 하라고 지시하였다. 4.예루살렘은 크고 넓은 성이었으나 거기에 사는 사람이 많지 않아 아직 집을 많이 짓지 않았다.
