에스라 강해 11

이번 주 설교 본문은 에스라 7:1~10절입니다.

제목은 ‘하나님의 도우심을 입어’입니다.

에스라 1~6장에는

에스라가 등장하지 않았습니다.

유다가 패망한 후로는 대략 130년 정도 지나고

포로들이 귀환한 후로는 80년 정도 지나고

성전이 재건된 후로는 60년 정도 지나고

에스라 7장부터 에스라가 등장합니다.

에스라를 소개하는 것이

바벨론으로 끌려간 사람의 후손인데도,

귀환자들의 명단을 소개할 때에는

지파에 대한 언급이 없이 간단했는데

자그마치 16대 조상까지

특별히 대제사장 아론의 후손이라고 강조합니다(7:1~5).

에스라의 족보에 이어

‘그는 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와께서 주신

모세의 율법에 익숙한 학자’(7:6),

‘여호와의 계명의 말씀과

이스라엘에게 주신 율례 학자요

학자 겸 제사장’(7:11)이라고 합니다.

6.Ezra was a scholar with a thorough knowledge of the Law which the LORD, the /god of Israel, had given to Moses. Because Ezra had the blessing of the LORD his God, the emperor gave him everything he asked for. In the seventh year of the reign of Artaxerxes, Ezra set out from Babylonia for Jerusalem with a group of Israelites which included priests, Levites, Temple musicians, Temple guards, and workmen. 8.They left Babylonia on the first day of the first month, and with God;’s help they arrived in Jerusalem on the first day of the fifth month. 10.Ezra had devoted his life to studying the Law of the LORD, to practicing it, and to teaching all its laws and regulations to the people of Israel.
