에스라 강해 5

이번 주 설교 본문은 에스라 3 : 1~7절입니다.

제목은 ‘기록된 대로’입니다.

애굽에서 고통받던 이스라엘이

하나님께 부르짖었다고 시작하는

출애굽과는 달리 출바벨론(출바사)에는

포로들의 부르짖음이 없습니다.

출애굽을 하나님이 약속하셨기에

하나님이 약속을 기억하고

열 가지 이적을 행하시며 이루셨습니다.

포로귀환을 하나님이 예언하셨기에

하나님이 예언을 기억하고

고레스를 감동시켜 말씀을 이루셨습니다.

핵심은 ‘하나님이 하셨다’입니다.

일부가 돌아와 각자의 성읍에 살았고,

중요한(?) 인물들이 소개되면서(3:2)

이스라엘 하나님의 제단을 만들고

‘율법에 기록된 대로’(3:2),

‘기록된 규례대로’(3:4) 번제를 드렸다고 합니다.

유다가 패망하기 전,

예루살렘 성전이 무너지기 전에

유다의 여호와 신앙은 엉망이었습니다.

예언자들을 통해 계속 지적받았습니다.

그런데 유다도 아닌 바벨론에서,

성전도 없는 곳에서

갑자기 신앙이 깊어졌나요?

어떻게요?

에스라 3 : 2 ~ 6절 본문 번역 비교읽기

2.And Joshua so of Jehozadak, his fellow priests, and Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, together with his relatives, rebuilt the altar of the God of Israel, so that they could burn sacrifices on it according to the instructions written in the Law of Moses, the man of God. 3.Even though the returning exiles were afraid of the people who were living in the land, they rebuilt the altar where it had stood before. Then they began to sacrifice burnt offerings on the altar to the Lord each morning and evening. 4.They celebrated the Festival of Shelters as prescribed in the Law, sacrificing the number of burnt offerings specified for each day of the festival. 5.They also offered the regular burnt offerings and the offerings required for the new moon celebrations and the annual festivals as prescribed by the Lord. The people also gave voluntary offerings to the Lord. 6.Fifteen days before the festival of Shelters began, the priests had begun to sacrifice burnt offerings to the Lord. This was even before they had started to lay the foundation of the Lord’s Temple.
